Westhoughton Co-op to reopen as Welcome store

It’s all change again on Sunday 26th March when the Co-op on Market Street closes its doors for refitting to become a Welcome store.

Welcome are a family run company in partnership with the Southern Co-op.

Westhoughton councillor David Wilkinson said: “Given the very difficult times for retail at the moment, it is good news that the business and building is going to be back in business quickly and the staff will keep their jobs.”
