Town hall inspiration from Oxfordshire

By Councillor Gillian Wroe
Town councillor for Daisy Hill ward

I recently visited Thame in Oxfordshire and was impressed by its beautiful Town Hall. Built earlier (1888) than our equally beautiful Town Hall (1904) it is a pivotal part of the community.

It is open every week day with an information centre for visitors and locals; help is available to access relevant services.

Rooms are available for hire with two levels of cost - one for businesses and a lower one for charities.

Interesting!
