Daisy Hill station traffic lights won’t stop changing

The traffic lights at Daisy Hill railway station

The problem of the lights at Daisy Hill railway station constantly changing without any pedestrians crossing is still ongoing.

Your local Liberal Democrat councillors have contacted Transport for Greater Manchester who deal with traffic lights.

Westhoughton councillor David Wilkinson said: “They have told us that they are waiting for spare parts for the crossing. We hope that they are able to get them fixed soon as it has become a nuisance for motorists.”

Local resident Lynda told us: “That explains why they were on red when I went that way at 6:15 this morning with not a single person in sight.”
