This week’s roadworks across Westhoughton:

• Church Street bridge works, two way traffic lights

• The Hoskers, installing new crossing at St George’s school, off peak working with two way traffic lights.

• Landedmans will be closed for approximately three weeks from Monday 21/8/23 -Thursday 14/9/23 while Cadent carry out gas works.

• Lostock Lane/Wingates Lane, Saturday 19/8/23 - Sunday 20/8/23, while Electricity North West carry out works. Two way traffic lights in operation.

• Chorley Road/Whimberry Hill Road from Monday 21/8/23 - Monday 4/9/23 while Electricity North West carry out works. Two way traffic lights in operation.

• Manchester Road (Metalbox Way), from Thursday 24/8/23 - Friday 25/8/23. Clarke Telecom working on a telegraph pole. Two way traffic lights off peak.
